Woodpeckers

Yesterday was such a beautiful sunny day.

While I was walking, I heard tap-tap-tap-tap, tap-tap-tap-tap... There were three woodpeckers pecking high in a tree with their hard, pointed beaks, so hard-working. Some people say that a woodpecker can peck 20 times one second, WOW.

Woodpeckers I saw were very beautiful, with a red patch on the head, white spotted black wings. I found their name in wikipedia -- hairy woodpecker :)

When I was taking photos, I felt wooden pieces falling on my head......

I am wondering: "Will tree be broken down if many woodpeckers peck on one tree from the same direction?" Oops, kinda scary.
