When I was walking on Promenade des Anglais, suddenly, I saw the sky was covered with huge black cloud -- actually, this is a flock of hundreds of small birds.

The statues on Place Masséna change their color very slowly. It says that the seven statues (I missed one in my pic) represent seven continents, which means the communication between the different communities of today's society. And the tram is running through this square.

Hey, it is summer!

Yesterday, the longest daylight, first day of summer. Feel anything different? Seems not, chilly, rainy, still like spring. But, anyway, it is summer.

On my way to the lab, I shot some pics. Those flowers are very popular wild plants, rosy, violet, both are my favorite colors.

This is John Hammond House, built in 1909, a sandstone building. I love the colorful gardening.

After finishing my culture counting, we went shopping -- grabbed back frozen yogurt and a big big watermelon. See, it is summer, no matter how the temperature is, time to enjoy those, eh?

Afternoon, as usual, housework time.

Look at our dinner, I made salad with watermelon rind (the white part), just tossing slices with olive oil and spicy sauce, easy and yummy.

After dinner, hubby suggested take a walk and enjoy the long daylight. Good idea!

Beautiful sunset on Salem Street (at 20h59):

Happy summer time!

Sunset dinner

Dinner got ready at 7h. It's daylight saving time now -- seven o'clock, time for beautiful sunset. Though it says there will be another snowy weekend, I can feel spring is approaching. Having dinner in this warm sunshine really cheers me up.

Look at this pork dices in ketchup, sunshine does improve its color, eh?

Sunset

Sunset is so romantic. Walking in sunset with reflection, oh, like everyday, we celebrate Valentine's Day.

Reflection on the wall, with fading roses made of maple leaves:
